life is a series of patterns

some don’t get to decide which patterns they go through

you, however, get to decide

if your pattern is an adventure

and if you enjoy the journey.

we all get to choose which adventure to go on

how tough the climb, or how ferocious the dragon

some will end in pain

some will end in death

the more ferocious the trial, the deeper within yourself you’ll fall

but as you’re holding on to dear life, two fingers left gripping the edge of the cliff

you'll find out who you truly are

I have known many men, and women who take these trials upon themselves

ultimately all of their adventurous desire leads to suffering

but those who reach deep within

triumphantly return

a new man, a new woman

ready for the next.

and with something to give others.
